Dear NGA Members,

I am excited to share our latest quarterly update with you. Our Annual Summit generated many exciting ideas that are now being implemented.

This month, we have an upcoming Networking Event that offers an opportunity for members to collaborate and for potential members to connect with us. Additionally, we are joining the GMA Gas Section for their annual conference. Keep an eye out for registration opening in August—we would love to see you there.

Our collective efforts during the recent legislative session have brought about positive outcomes for Georgia’s natural gas industry. We are also in discussions with Natural Allies, a D.C.-based organization, to explore state-level partnerships aimed at promoting natural gas as a sustainable energy path.

At the Summit, the RNG committee led a panel showcasing a renewable gas facility at a dairy farm in Eatonton, GA. The panel featured the farmer, project developer, and utility, sparking discussions on expanding such opportunities within the state. The RNG committee continues to work on reducing interconnection costs, creating in-state markets for RNG attributes, and supporting relevant legislation.

Our marketing team has been collaborating with Reservoir Communications Group to promote NGA. Reservoir Communications Group has developed a voice and messaging platform for us. In phase two, they propose an education and awareness campaign to humanize the industry and highlight behind-the-scenes employees with “Everyday Energy Heroes.”

Thank you for your continued support and dedication to advancing Georgia’s natural gas industry.
